Traditional flash testers, due to their excessively short pulse duration, are prone to causing errors from module capacitance effect and thermal effect, making it difficult to meet the testing requirements for high precision and high adaptability. Focusing on such industry pain points, Wuhan Yoha Solar has devoted itself to R&D and launched the long-pulse-width PV module IV tester, which accurately addresses the testing shortcomings of traditional equipment and has become a core tool for the production, R&D and testing of PV modules. This long-pulse-width PV module IV tester boasts prominent core advantages and fully aligns with actual power generation conditions to ensure testing accuracy. Equipped with a millisecond-to-second level long-pulse light source and a standard 100ms long-pulse irradiation mode, the equipment strictly simulates the continuous irradiation state of sunlight, completely eliminating testing deviations caused by traditional short pulses and making the testing environment infinitely close to the actual outdoor power generation scenario of PV modules. Meanwhile, the tester is fitted with a high-precision detection module, which can completely plot the current-voltage (I-V) characteristic curve and accurately calculate key performance parameters including open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current, maximum power point, fill factor and conversion efficiency. Its electrical performance measurement error is ≤ 1% and test result consistency ≤ 0.5%, with data reliability far exceeding the conventional industry level.
The equipment also delivers outstanding performance in terms of adaptability and intelligence. With an effective testing area of 2600×1500mm, it is compatible with various new PV modules featuring large size, high capacitance and significant thermal capacity effect, fully covering the current mainstream PV technology routes. It is equipped with a high-precision temperature sensor that real-timely monitors module temperature and completes data calibration under Standard Test Conditions (STC), ensuring the comparability of test results. Integrated with an automated control and software control system, it is suitable for pipeline-type batch testing, greatly improving the terminal testing efficiency of production lines and perfectly meeting the demands for large-scale and high-efficiency production of the overseas 30MW PV production line.
All parameters of the shipped equipment strictly comply with industry standards and design specifications, with compliant and accurate core technical parameters: the light source meets the IEC60904-9:2020 Class A+ spectral requirements, with a spectral range of 300~1200nm and irradiance up to 1000W/㎡; the irradiance non-uniformity is ≤ 1% and irradiance instability ≤ 0.5%; the adjustable single flash pulse width ranges from 10 to 100ms. The equipment is compatible with 220V/50Hz power supply, balancing performance stability and operational convenience, and fully meeting the stringent testing and production standards of overseas production lines.
