Yoha (Wuhan) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the delivery of three photovoltaic (PV) module inspection systems, which were shipped on March 4th. The shipment includes a solar module EL defect detector, a long-pulse module IV tester, and a customized appearance inspection unit. Two of the core systems are bound for an overseas 10MW PV module production line, while the third customized unit has been delivered to a domestic client.

The two devices destined for the overseas 10MW line are critical for ensuring module production quality and adhere to strict industry standards.

The Solar Module EL Tester (Model YHEL-2400) utilizes electroluminescence (EL) imaging technology. It features a customized high-sensitivity infrared camera with a 48-megapixel resolution, capable of detecting micro cracks smaller than 0.03mm. The system effectively identifies internal defects such as micro-cracks, fragments, broken grids, and soldering issues. Its effective testing area covers 2600*1500mm and supports single or dual camera modes with adjustable image acquisition times from 1 to 60 seconds. This makes it suitable for inspecting various mono- and multi-crystalline modules both before and after lamination, providing robust support for quality control across the entire production line.

The accompanying Long-Pulse Solar Module IV Tester (Model YHMT-AAA) features a 100-millisecond long-pulse light source. It meets IEC60904-9:2020 Class A spectral requirements, covering a range of 300-1200nm with a single flash pulse width of 10-100ms. This design effectively overcomes the capacitance and thermal effect errors associated with traditional flash testers. The unit delivers results with consistency ≤1% and electrical measurement error ≤2%, accurately measuring key parameters like open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current, and maximum power point. It is widely adaptable for testing large-area, bifacial, and tandem modules, perfectly matching the automated inspection needs of the overseas 10MW line.

The third unit delivered is the Model YH-4700 Customized Appearance Inspection System, specifically tailored for a domestic client. Equipped with a customer-specified 47-megapixel high-definition camera, it clearly captures and reveals surface defects such as scratches, edge chips, contamination, color variation, foreign matter, poor encapsulation, cell breakage, and ribbon misalignment. This system precisely meets the client's individualized inspection standards, enhancing their efficiency in module appearance quality control.
